Butterick Sewing Pattern 6989 Vintage 1950’s Playsuit, Blouse and Skirt

This Butterick sewing pattern is a reproduction of an authentic 1950’s playsuit, blouse, and skirt set. The playsuit features a round neckline, a no waist seam design, buttons around the hipline, and little boy shorts. The accompanying boxy overblouse has a stand-up collar and below-elbow sleeves that can be buttoned onto the playsuit. The full skirt also has a matching collar. This pattern also includes additional sizes and cutting layouts for a more personalized fit.
Fabric Suggestion Cotton Poplin, Denim, Linen, Pique, Sailcloth, Seersucker, Terry Cloth. Interfacing (for Overblouse): Lightweight Sew-in. Not suitable for diagonals or obvious one-way design fabrics.
